Emily Korf not only holds a degree in interior design, but has worked in many areas of the world of design. She has worked in the flooring industry, granite and solid surfaces, furniture sales and design for Thomasville and a designer in custom storage solutions at California Closets. She is also a member of IFDA; International Furnishings and Design Association with a professional status. It was during the renovation of her own 1881 home in the Highland Park area of St. Paul that she realized you don't have to spend a lot of money to have a well-designed, functional, and fluid space. She believes there is something to be said for "getting what you pay for" but recognizes that not everyone can afford high-end interiors. With this is mind, Emily started her own interior design business focused on affordable options. Emily takes the time during her consultations to not only find out about the function and needs of your space, but also asks "where do YOU like to shop? How much would you LIKE to spend?" Emily is happy and ready to work with anyone needing project management or even the do-it-yourselfers that just need a hand in knowing what finishes/colors/textiles to choose!
